How to Earn Prizes
1. Reach Fundraising Milestones
Earn prizes by reaching the seven fundraising milestones: $50, $150, $300, $500, $1,000, $2,500, and $5,000.
2. Attend the Event
Join us on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center and be showered with fantastic giveaways from local businesses!
How to Get Your Prizes
1. Grab Your Gear at Barktoberfest
All fundraising prizes can be picked up at the festival on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. Grab your prizes and celebrate your achievement at the best pet festival in the West!
2. Pick-Up HSU
All prizes can be picked up at the Humane Society of Utah, plus you can celebrate your success by visiting our amazing dogs, cats, and critters.
3. Prize Shipping
For those who can't pick up their fundraising prizes at the festival or HSU, you can have your prizes mailed to you.

Fundraising Prize Shipping
You can pay to have your prizes shipped directly to you! Pay-to-ship is coming soon.
Basic prize shipping will be available for $15, which includes your t-shirt and beanies. Comprehensive prize shipping will be available for $40, which includes all prizes (anything above the $150 level).
Fundraising Deadlines
All online donations are credited to fundraisers automatically and will count toward prize milestones. Cash and check donations can be turned in to the Humane Society of Utah (4242 S 300 W, Murray, UT 84107). The donation must include a Fundraiser’s name in order to be applied to the correct fundraising page. All donations must be made/received no later than 11:59 p.m. MDT on October 31, 2024, to qualify for Barktoberfest prizes (exception below).
Top Fundraiser Deadlines
The top three individual and team fundraisers will be announced at Barktoberfest on September 28, 2024. In order to be considered for a top fundraising category, all online donations must be received by 6 p.m. MDT the day before the event and all cash/check donations must be received by HSU no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
If you plan on submitting multiple donations via cash or check, please use this form to ensure all your donations are properly credited to your fundraising page. This will help us track your progress accurately and ensure you receive the recognition you deserve.
Prize Disclaimer
All taxes on prizes, including but not limited to federal, state and local income and sales taxes, are the responsibility of the winners. Please consult your tax adviser for more information. Each prize is guaranteed to be awarded except if forfeited by a prize winner or if the Humane Society of Utah ceases operation or is unable to fulfill the prize after a diligent effort is made. In such circumstances, HSU assumes no responsibility (monetary or otherwise) to fulfill the prize. HSU may, in its sole discretion, choose to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the offered prize is unavailable. Barktoberfest prizes are not redeemable for cash, exchangable, or transferable. Any Barktoberfest prizes not claimed by November 30, 2024 will be forfeited.
