Barktoberfest T-Shirt Design Contest

Contest Overview:

The winner of this contest will have their design featured on 2024 Barktoberfest T-shirts, be recognized on the Barktoberfest website, on social media, receive a free t-shirt with their design, and win a $250 Visa gift card.

Eligibility/Entry:

• There is no entry fee to submit a design.
• Only one design submission per contestant.
• ​If you are under 18, you may create a design, but a parent or guardian must submit it on your behalf.

Design Criteria:
The T-shirt design must be your own original, unpublished work. AI assistance is not allowed. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work, and that the Humane Society of Utah has exclusive rights to use your design.
 

• The design must be on the front of the shirt only.
• The design must be one color: The winning design will be printed in black ink on a grey shirt.
• Digital designs must be in high resolution and be submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file.

• Submission meets the criteria stated above.
• Concept and originality of design with a family-friendly Halloween theme.
• Creativity and innovation.
• Visibility from a reasonable distance.
• Does it coincide with the mission of the Humane Society of Utah.

• The winning design will be featured on the 2024 Barktoberfest T-shirts.
• Recognition on the event website and on social media.
• One free t-shirt featuring the winning design.
• $250 Visa gift card

By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants to the Humane Society of Utah the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Humane Society of Utah materials. The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Humane Society of Utah from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection with the Humane Society of Utah’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design. No submissions will be returned.
